Our RentPrep Background Check tenant screening reports are hand-compiled by an FCRA Certified screener within one to two business hours of you submitting your order.
If you order while the office is closed, we will begin working on your order on the next business morning.
Our current (Eastern Standard Hours) hours are the following:
- Mon-Thurs: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM EST
- Fri: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST
- Sun: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM EST
TransUnion Full Credit Report turnaround times are dependent on how quickly your applicant takes action on their end.
Things that can delay your order
TransUnion Full Credit Report Orders:
All TransUnion Full Credit Report orders include the tenant in the process. This means the order only begins once the tenant applicant does everything they need to do on their end. They will be emailed a link with steps on what to do next. Sometimes that email can get filtered into the spam/ junk folder of their inbox, so that's worth checking if they haven't received anything.
Additional Search Required:
Our RentPrep Background Check is hand compiled by our Screening Team and uses multiple databases to search for records. In some cases, further investigation may be required so a direct county or state search will be initiated (at no cost to you). At this point, we are waiting on the court results which can take longer than our typical turnaround time. You will receive an email notification if there is a delay due to an additional search.
