No, we require an SSN to be provided to run the report. Without the SSN we cannot perform any searches besides the residence verification, employment verification, and income verification.
However, if your applicant has an SSN but does not feel comfortable sharing it, you may put all zeros for the SSN. We will need all of the other personal information from the applicant so we can reverse search to find the applicant’s SSN on our end. The personal information includes: full name, date of birth, current address, and phone number.
If your applicant provided you with an ITIN, you will need to ask if they have an SSN they can provide instead. If they only can provide an ITIN we will be unable to complete the searches. ITIN stands for Individual Taxpayer Identification Number, they start with a 9 and are used for tax purposes only.
