Breakdown of the Credit Report

Here is the breakdown of the full credit report that our Enterprise clients can receive. 

 

Score section - This section will show the applicant’s credit score and will provide a list of codes to explain why the score is not an 850 credit score.

 

 

Credit Summary section - This section will provide a summary of all the credit information. 

 

It will be helpful to see how many Tradelines they have all together along with how many days the applicant was late with payments.

 

 

Financial Summary section - This section adds all the balances of the tradelines to give you the full amount they may be still owing.

 

 

Personal Information Comparison - This section will show the applicant’s personal information, this may show other names they have gone by and if the information inputted matches the information attached with the social security number.

 

 

Address Comparison - This section provides address information that has been associated with the applicant. 

 

This information may not include all addresses the applicant has lived at and it is possible for an address to appear where the applicant has received mail once. 

 

This information cannot be used for adverse action. 

 

 

Employment Comparison - This section will show employer information where the applicant has previously worked at or may be currently employed at.

 

This is not an employment verification. It is possible for current and past employers to show up on credit reports if they were listed as the applicant’s employer when submitting a credit application. Creditors may pass this information along to the national credit reporting agencies and will get added to the applicant’s credit file.

 

 

Credit History - This section will show the breakdown of the credit summary section. Here you will be able to see what type of tradelines they have, the balance they owe, which tradelines have the late payments, etc.

 

This section may be harder to understand to someone who has not reviewed a credit report before. Our Enterprise screeners will be happy to help you understand this information. 

 

Prior Inquiries - This section will show all the credit lines the applicant has applied to in the past two years.

 

 

Repository Remarks - This section will show consumer statements that are on the applicant’s file. An example would be if the applicant was a victim of fraud.

 

Creditors - This section will show the creditors information for applicant’s tradelines are associated with. 

 

 

Submission Results - This section will show the time the credit report was run, which bureau it was generated from, and if the social security number is associated with a record.

 

 

Repository Referral - This section will show the information for the credit bureau this credit report was generated by.
