AKAs - “Also Known As”- This section will show other names that the applicant may have used.
Collections - When an individual does not pay or they fall behind on payments the lender/creditor may transfer or refer the account to a collection agency. The collection agency needs to verify identity and send a debt validation notice from the collector to begin collecting on the debt.
Credit Freeze - A credit freeze would be initiated by the consumer to stop the credit bureaus from sharing their credit report with third parties. This is a common anti-fraud measure to help prevent identity theft or if an individual has already been a victim of fraud
Credit Limit - The max amount a consumer can put on their credit card.
High credit - The most that was charged or due on the account. Sometimes this may exceed the credit limit and this is usually due to interest or late/other account fees.
High Risk Fraud Alert Messages - Appears if address, SSN or phone number have been used in suspected fraudulent activity; if the information on an application is inappropriate, such as a commercial or institutional address; or if the SSN has not been issued by the Social Security Administration or is that of a deceased person as reported by the Social Security Administration.
ID Mismatch Alert Messages - Appears when the input address, SSN or surname does not match what is on file; when a minimum of four inquiries have been made against the file within the last 60 days; or when an invalid ZIP code is entered.
Insufficient Credit - This may appear when an applicant does not have enough credit information to generate a score. This is not necessarily a red flag, it just simply indicates the lack of credit experience.
Profit Loss & Write Off - The credit card company decided the debt was not worth collecting and took a write off for it. The unpaid balance of the debt will still reflect on the applicant's credit report.
Suppressed Credit - An individual can suppress their credit to prevent information from being released.
